Growing
- Sow it with the Hoe in a tilled bed and keep the bed watered. It takes about 5 days to its first harvest in clear weather.
- It likes the sun: fastest in clear sunshine, slower under cloud or a roof, and slow at night.
Harvest
Reap it with the Sickle. A harvest gives 3 to 5 Potato and 1 to 2 seeds back (1 more seed at Heirloom), and releases 3 Earth, 1 Water spirits at Plain grade (more at finer grades: see Crop Grades). Left in the ground more than 3 days after it ripens, it rots.
Where to get seeds
Wild potatoes in the Rocky Highlands and the Tundra (45%, 1 or 2 seeds), and traders in the Rocky Highlands. See Seeds.
Notes
- Potatoes are hardy: under snow they keep growing at half pace, and frost does not hurt them. They are a good crop for the Tundra.
