In-game description

A whetstone grown through with spirit, faintly warm and humming. One pass restores 100% of the edge, as keen as the day it was made.SHOWN ON ITS CARD IN YOUR PACK

Using it

Open your pack, choose the Spiritstone, then choose the tool or weapon to sharpen. Only things that have lost some edge can be chosen. One stone is used and the edge is full again. See Edge.

Making it

Made at a Crafting Table, on the MISC page: 2 Stone, 1 Endurium Ingot, 1 Pearl, and spirits: 1 Fire, 2 Water, 3 Earth and 1 Wind. The recipe is locked until you have cleared a lair in four lands (see Metal Tiers and Jewels).

A Spiritstone is worth most on an endurium weapon, whose edge is the longest. Save them for long dungeons and lair fights, where you can't reach a Spiriting Table.
