What it gives

Every stat gets a bonus set by the coat's metal; the stats it gives less lose 70% of theirs, shared out evenly among the stats it gives more. The bonuses add to your stats as percentages (see Raincoats).

Bronze+10.2%+1.8%+6%

Steel+25.5%+4.5%+15%

Spirits bound at the Spiriting Table, its traits and your worn charms add on top. Coats never wear out.

Making it

Made at the Crafting Table, on the COATS page. From iron up you can choose a lining for 3 more creature parts, and at every metal you can choose its colour. Making it trains speed and endurance.

Bronze4 Leather, 3 Bronze Ingot, 1 Water Spirit, 2 Wind Spirits
Iron4 Leather, 3 Iron Ingot, 3 Linen, 1 Fire Spirit, 1 Water Spirit, 1 Earth Spirit, 3 Wind Spirits

Coats also turn up in chests and on a fishing line.

Tips

  • Endurance makes your stacks hold more, so it is a good coat for gathering trips.
  • If you swap out of it, whatever no longer fits in your stacks is set down at your feet; nothing is lost.
