The Bed is on the build ring's INDOORS page. E at it after dark to sleep through the night: you wake at dawn with full health, no poison and no sleepiness.

Where it can go
A bed only goes in a proper house: walls all round (doors and windows count), a floor and a roof. If the house is no longer whole when you try to sleep, the bed says "the wind's coming in".
Placing it
- It covers 2 by 2 tiles.
- R turns its head north, east, south or west.
- Choose the blanket's colour (Ochre, Brick, Moss, Sky, Plum, Rose, Cream or Slate) with C or on its page. It is free.
A bed also counts toward a room's comfort, and a free one lets a tenant move in. See Beds, Comfort and Tenants.
In online play, sleeping in a bed makes it yours (one bed each). You may sleep in beds you made, and in others only on your own land or as a builder. See Beds.
Building it
It costs 6 
Wood, 2 Water 1 Earth spirits. Take it down with DISMANTLE to get its cost back (see Building).
