The Raincoat is the yellow oilcloth coat with a stiff brim that the Wanderer wears from the start. It keeps the rain off, and that is all: it gives no stats.

In-game description

How it works

  • It adds nothing to your stats. The six crafted coats each add a bonus to every stat (see Raincoats).
  • It can't be dropped or destroyed.
  • You can't take it off without putting another coat on. To change, put a crafted coat in your pack's coat pocket.
  • It can't be dyed or lined.

Tips

  • Even a Leather coat beats it: every crafted coat adds at least +0.9% to every stat, and the Leather Tank's Raincoat adds +5.1% health and defense for 5 Hide, 4 Stone and a few spirits.
