How to catch it
- Hold a steel or endurium fishing rod.
- Set a Spirit Wager that counts as 100 or more (any element). The tide counts.
- Cast into deep water in the Woods.
The chance is 1.5% a cast with a wager of 100 to 149, 2.5% with 150 to 199, and 4% at 200. Each such cast there that doesn't bring it up adds 0.5%, until you catch it. There is no set time of day. See Legendary Fish.
The fight
Its wiggles last 60% longer than other catches', and it swims round you in a wide circle even as you reel it in. Keep reeling through the long wiggles, and yank when it runs.
Like every legendary fish, it is as heavy as the heaviest catches, runs after 65% of its wiggles and strains the line 60% faster than a common fish.
Uses
- Cook it into Elder Koi Feast: it heals you to full, fills your stamina, clears your sleepiness and teaches 500 Health XP and 500 Stamina XP.
- Show it off on a Trophy Mount or in a Fish Tank.
