Effects

It rolls its effects from the list below when it is made or found, with no effect twice. How many it gets depends on its metal (Bone: 1 · Bronze: 1 or 2 · Iron: 2, sometimes 1 · Steel: 2 or 3 · Endurium: 3, sometimes 2). Effects marked "rarer" come up less often than the rest.

Making it

Tied at the Charm Table, on the CHARMS page. Its own part is 2 Any Tooth; the metal adds a cord and ingots, and it takes a few spirits.

MetalCost
Bone3 Any Grass, 1 Earth Spirit, 1 Fire Spirit, 2 Any Tooth
Bronze2 Any Grass, 2 Bronze Ingot, 2 Fire Spirits, 1 Earth Spirit, 2 Any Tooth
Iron2 Any Grass, 2 Iron Ingot, 3 Fire Spirits, 2 Earth Spirits, 2 Any Tooth
Steel2 Any Grass, 2 Steel Ingot, 3 Fire Spirits, 1 Water Spirit, 2 Earth Spirits, 2 Any Tooth
Endurium2 Any Grass, 1 Iron Ingot, 1 Endurium Ingot, 5 Fire Spirits, 1 Water Spirit, 2 Earth Spirits, 2 Any Tooth

Charms also drop from some night creatures, turn up in chests and come up on a fishing line.

Tips

  • A Bane or Ward against the Hollow Stag is worth keeping for its lair.
  • Two Fighter's Charms add their numbers together.
  • You can wear two charms. Their numbers add together; an effect that is only on or off does nothing more for being on both.
